Sand Pudding

If that doesn't work just look me up on Pinterest (missi_c) it's on my food boards. I made this for a Memorial Day gathering & it was a BIG hit. Everyone liked it. I got my sand castle pail at the Target Dollar Spot for $1. I think a smooth sided sand pail would work better, however I was at Target & I couldn't beat the price. So I make it work.

Shoes Steph Style

Stephanie decided to paint her up some canvas shoes. Here is just one view of them. She has the name Craig on the side of one. XBOX, a paw print, NCIS on the other side. Mountie mascot on the heel of each one. She gets her artistic abilities from her daddy. I do believe they will be used in her senior photo session that is coming up way to fast, like tomorrow.

Garden Goodies!

Here is the first batch of goodies I've gotten from my "garden". It's basically just a tiny little overgrown weed area in my back yard. But it works for us. Cucumbers are from Retha's garden.

Quick update

I used to be able to send photos from my phone & then go add the post, but of course now It won't let me with all these blogger changes!! Errrr. So no photos til I have a chance to get on the laptop fired up. Basically in no particular order 1. School has been out for 3 weeks now & almost a daily nap has been real nice. 2. Steph went riding bikes on a bike trail with a friend & wrecked......in a big mud puddle. There is no help for her shirt. It was brown & previously white. When she got home I told her to never call me me again & start off saying she was in a wreck. It scared me to death!! 3. Memorial Day we had grilled hot dogs @ Retha/Wallaces. I made a yummy sand pudding that I found on Pinterest. I have it pinned on my food board if you want to go check it out. Perfect summer dessert & so cool! 4. Dog sitting for our neighbor while she visited family out of state. She has a black lab named, Be Be, who loves our family & is much happier after staying with us rather than the kennel. 5. Garage sale! Need I say more? Hard work, & why do we do them again? Oh yes, so we get rid of some stuff & make a little $. 6. Fifty Shades of Grey. Have ya heard about these books? Oh my my!! They sure suck you in. I finished book 2 & am making myself not buy the 3rd til I have this garage sale over. I knew I would be reading all day & not working on the sale stuff. Target better have it in stock Sunday or I will not be happy. Might have to purchase on Chris' Kindle & read while he's @ work since he's into a book on it right now. 7. Senior pictures. Yes, you read that correct. We got the postcard in the mail that Steph has her senior pictures scheduled next week. They do them @ the school & you have to have them done to get your photo in the yearbook. So we've been clothes shopping & on the hunt for an art easel to use as a prop. So that pretty much is our family update for the last few weeks.
