iPhone photo recap

Here's the latest installment of my miscellaneous phone photos.
Retha & I have been going to the gym on a regular basis & I snapped a photo of her one afternoon when I noticed no one else on the treadmills.
Another day I had her snap my photo. I've been doing the couch to 5k app. 2 weeks down 6 more to go.
Stephanie & I having a text conversation one evening. We were laughing at how lololo autocorrects. Watch Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlakes real hash tag conversation on YouTube to understand.
Card I made for my moms birthday. First time I used washi tape & was happy with the outcome.
Steph purchased her first car. She is one happy girl. She has been lovin' the sun roof & remote start. Oh & the fact that it uses less gas than the truck is a big bonus also. It's a 2006 Pontiac G6.
Red socks day at school aka work in honor of red ribbon week.
A cookie swap with a few family & friends. I do believe that fun was had by all.
I have had a sandwich sealer for a few years now & tried it out right after I bought it. My bread kept ripping & I gave up after a couple tries. I happened onto a tutorial for making DIY uncrustables. I had been using to much peanut butter/jelly. I tried out a couple & froze them & Logan told me they taste just like the stores. I found a whole grain bread that is white & loaded with fiber & so I'm one happy mom!! And he'll be none the wiser.

Craft Fail

I saw on Pinterest awhile back a really cool tray made by melting starlight mints. Like a ton of pins on there I forgot all about it until I was looking through my Christmas board trying to find a dessert for our first holiday dinner. Yeah, I know Thanksgiving hasn't happened yet, but we are busy busy busy this year & it just worked out everyone was free before so that's when we're celebrating. I ran across the tray & decided to give it a go.
I get my mints.
I unwrap & line them up on my parchment paper.
Have my oven preheated to 350 like blog says. http://tuttobellablog.com/2011/12/19/diy-serving-tray-2/
This is what it's suspose to look like. Mine however wasn't melting & then it started almost bubbling so I yank it outta there.
This non smooth, bubbly mess is what I ended up with.  So off to try again & think, hmm maybe you do need to use a cookie sheet because possibly the metal heats better than the glass cake pan I had tried.
Well second time is worse & not better so I've decided there will be no third try this craft. The edges just ran & the middle looked nice but you just can't get over the nasty runny edges so oh we'll at least I tried.
And again here's the blog that had this on there if you want to try it for yourself. http://tuttobellablog.com/2011/12/19/diy-serving-tray-2/
