Cookies R here!!!!

We have cookies filling our living room. Well not all the way full :) but still more cookies than any one living room needs. Yes, Girl Scout cookies came in yesterday. We did manage to get them all sorted yesterday & started the delivering process today.

Even w/ all these cookies I still have to figure out what's for dinner. Think the kids & hubby would like to hear this tonight? "We are having Girl Scout cookies for dinner" LOL

Today would've been Hannah's 5th birthday & she was so excited to "get 5" according to her mom & the post she made on Feb 9th.

I know today has to be a very hard day for that family. I just can't imagine. The way I came to know about Hannah & the caringbridge blog is because a mom that has a daughter in Logan's grade watched Hannah & her little brother. I know I've seen them at the school because the babysitters daughter & Logan have been in classes together before. So I found out about the site from people I work with. I dontated blood for the first time in memory of Hannah & plan to do it again.

So now since today was Hannah's birthday & her mom had always planned on doing a Valentine's themed party & didn't get to she came up w/ Hearts for Hannah & she is wanting people to do random acts of kindness things & post back to her blog. She plans to make a scrapbook of the nice things done for the little brother.

So my ♥'s for Hannah was donating a book from the book fair to Hannah's moms class (she teaches K in Springdale).
I also planned to buy milks today for any child that wanted one but owed money & wasn't allowed due to their account in the negative. That didn't happen so I will continue that for the rest of the week.

Another snow day

I woke up this morning w/ Chris on his iphone checking the Rogers school website. This is the message that was on the home page All children and staff will be going to school til the middle of July because we are cancelling school again for weather conditions "Rogers Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, Feb 9th. Parent-Teacher Conferences are cancelled". So unless they voted last Friday to make up two previous snow days w/ some inservice days we are now going to school til Thursday, June 10th. If the two days passed for make up days then it pushes it back to Tuesday, June 8th. Wonder if we'll be doing any Saturday schools for makeups?

Since we're off for the day I have started another scarf on my knitting loom. I finished my second one up yesterday. I also plan on doing Stephanie's b-day invites for a couple friends. Laundry & cleaning is on the to do list like always. I have a dentist appt for a cleaning & sure hope they are open because I always look forward to cleanings, I know I'm weird :)

Valentine's Box

Logan has never had to make a Valentine box for school & since this is his last year in elementary I decided it was time. I saw this cute box in Family Fun Magazine & thought.........hmmmm that's very boyish, wonder if Logan would like it. He did & so while grandma & Steph were at the movies we got busy w/ our creation. I think it turned out Cute boyish. Although Chris said we should've used a pink colored nose because it looks like Halloween. Oh well maybe it's just a confused alien waiting to gobble up some cards??
