Sizzling Hot Weekend

Okay maybe it's wasn't exactly "sizzling" but still it seemed very HOT. Saturday Chris & I got stuck behind a lady with a million things in a checkout line at Lowe's. We were in the garden center & oh my gosh it was so HOT in there. Today we Chris started working on a backyard project & oh my gosh it was so hot outside. I was sure wishing we had the pool ready, & I wasn't even really doing any work.

Here's a look back at last winter & what we had to deal with. This view is looking north up our street. Does looking at this make it seem any cooler?



Here is what happens when you leave 2 ltr soda bottles in the garage & it's below freezing outside for more than a day straight, lol. The soda was frozen solid when I first found it.

Flash back to the past.

On the way home from school today the kids & I saw thirteen of these old cars. Yes THIRTEEN! We might have saw more but we came to our turn off. Missed a couple good pictures while in the turn lane & so I turned around to catch up w/ them & got these somewhat okay shots before coming to our next turn off. Needless to say Steph & I aren't used to the cell phone camera delay w/ my new phone. And yes the light was red when I took the first photo :) Steph took the second one. I wonder if the people driving are used to getting their photos taken?
