Day 7 ~ Storms Yet Again!

A week just flies by when your at the beach. Even if you can't enjoy the beach. We knew that it was a possibility that we would have oil wash ashore & not be able to swim this week. We planned on taking advantage of the lower number of tourists in town & go to a few restaurants we've never been to before. Chris found Shrimp Basket that was good & became the boys day out place to go for lunch. Now to the storms...........we had rain all around us most of the week. Because of that we decided not to do the waterpark. Chris took this photo this afternoon of the storms clouds popping up. We never got any rain from it, but it poured right down the road.

I did get to enjoy a nice walk along the beeach tonight w/out many tarballs. So that was really nice. I love the feel of the soft, cool sand washing out from under my feet in the evenings.

Only 364 days or so left to our next beach vacation :)
